DUBL, a sparkling wine brand of Feudi di San Gregorio, is synonymous with high quality and high design. Creating a strong concept makes the space a valuable device to reinforce the brand identity.
First of all, to establish the design concept, we analyzed Dubl’s brand image and we extracted two main primal shapes.
INTEGRATED SPACE DESIGN WITH ENVIRONMENT:
Unit 36 is positioned in the centre of a corridor of high foot traffic, with a 360 degree view.
The space is organized by a single element: a snake shaped counter that runs along the unit with an integrated working space, champagne and food display.
Starting from the given area we introduced two circles within the space, that create a focal point for customers, to increase the visibility.
All customers can sit along the counter, and the deformation and the movement of the counter creates intimate places.
THE CIRCLE:
The peculiarities of sparkling wine, the bubbles, represents lightness and elegance: All essences have sparkling wine we translate into a round shape.
THE SQUARE:
The second shape came from the DUBL’s simple and iconic graphic design.
The DUBL brand identity can be symbolized in this simple and powerful shape, the SQUARE.
These two essential shapes, Circle and square, are the key elements for our space concept.
MATERIALS
Applying the reflective surfaces, may introduce to the space the images or shadows which surround the components’ enviroments. It allow customers to become a part of the space. And give a vitality and dynamism transforming a wine bar into a scenography, enabling the customers to enter into a dialogue with the environment.
